Filming Safety Served Sweet at Longerenong College
In mid to late October 2026, the Safety Served Sweet crew filmed at Longerenong College in the Wimmera. Students and young farm workers stepped in front of the camera for short, peer to peer farm safety videos, made by workers for workers.
Safety Served Sweet is a whole farm safety program with the tagline “Farm safety that everyone can understand”. Safe work procedures become short, engaging, neuroinclusive videos. Farm safety is not just around the kitchen table anymore. It belongs with every worker out in the paddock.
The program is backed by People in Paddocks and Agriculture Victoria. Twenty-five videos have been identified. The first nine were filmed at Longerenong College, including fatigue management, tractor operations, hay stacking, livestock handling, mustering on a quad bike, overhead power lines, chemical handling and side-by-sides. More filming and more commodities are still to come.
